I spend a lot of time in the geo cave and this is the first time i loot this, is this a new weapon or is it the same acid carbine that's always been in the game?

it is the rifle version of the carbine

No that is the dxr-6b schematic, this says dxr-6 schematic

Ten-loss Dxr-6 and the Disruptor Rifle schematic are one in the same when you learn the schematic....whether you read one or the other they both show up under the Rifle crafting tree as the Disruptor
