Does the quality of the proton granades matter in the overall outcome of the rocket launcher?

No sir, so don't experiment the grenade nor it's components so to keep factory time down.

Actually, factory time is based on the initial item complexity only -- 8 seconds per -- not the finalexperimented complexity.
