I found that nifty little tool on SWGcraft just yesterday while I was at work. I am having some issues though downloading all the available resources from swgcrat. I was wondering if anyone else is using this program and or has the same problem. I scanned through his forum, but didn't find anything really helpful on fixing it for me.

I am using Windows Xp and Office XP.

I love that tool. Been using it for months. Pain in the but inputing your resources but after tha it's love!

I use this wonderfull tool daily. I believe the post on the dll will solve your problem. Also, Fooman has a thread on the SWGCraft forums that is very helpful and Fooman himself is a moderator.

The tool was great back in the earlier days before it compared current spawns to your resource inventory. Now it's just awesome. I used to consider myself an Excel expert. Fooman's programming skills humble me. It's so damn good I'm amazed SOE hasn't banned it as an exploit. (kidding . . . sorta) Every weaponsmith owes it to him/herself to check this tool out. Indispensible.

I never knew Excel could do the things Fooman has done with this spreadsheet.

there's a .dll file that goes in your system32directory (or some directory)that comes zipped with the manual and spreadsheet...the manual tells you where to put it...i just don't have the manual on hand.

If you've already done this, i don't know what to say.

Fooman's tool is unbelievable. Once you start using it you will wonder how the hell you ever existed before its creation. Kind of like sliced bread, or the scroll wheel mouse.

I want to marry it, I love it so much...

And I'm not even being paid to say that, I'm 100% dead-serious.

Make sure the sheet is in C:\FWSTV6.0

Make sure your zlib.dll file is in your path. This is easiest by dropping it in %windir%\system32

It's the bomb. After a couple of months when you have all your resources filled out, your surveying and harvesting really drop off. It's nice to know that a spawn only looks good but is actually %3 less that what you currently have.

Jenner is working on a conversion for all the other professions as well. I can't wait so my guildies can do more crafting and less guessing and surveying.

Hi everyone like everyone said before it is most likely the DLL i rushed straight into the spreadsheet first then i reliezed i needed to save this dll file somewhereit worked after that.

TO-Sebun cool!! do you know when jenner will have this other tools available ?

/salute A big thanks to everyone who helped me on this issue. I took that .dll moved it into system32 and bam it worked. Now all I have to do is take all the resources I have and put them into this program. Anyone know an easy way to do that lol? This looks like a real handy tool and once again thanks to all

Mavis beacon teaches typing.

Entering them yourself is probably the hardest part.

This tool is the best.

this tool isn't fully compatable with older versions of excel.

I"ve got office '97 and all macros give me runtime error 13 so it's not on my computer anymore. I'm usin' this site http://www.virtualbodybuilder.com/swg/itemlist.aspto check the current resrouces on my galaxy instead.

Redriver, you may want to check to see if there are any updates you can install for your microsoft office...www.microsoft.com/download. I believe we had at least one tester who was using 97, but it may have been 98...I use xp myself and this tool is one of the best things to happen to SWG
