Thread: Projectile Mechanisms, Pistol Barrels, and Power Blaster Handlers
A few more thoughts:
With feed mechs, I've found that allocatingas manypointsas will fit in the barto damage in each experiment actually seems to give the best damage (or at least this was the case a few months ago, not sure if it's been changed).
With stocks, Ace pointed out that using 6-7 experiment points on the first experiment, then the rest on the second, tends to give the best damage/lowest fail percentageand my experience bears this out (I've actually gotten better results from using 6/4 than 7/3 - YMMV).
For power handlers, I seem to get good results using 5/3/2 points on the experiments, but this is hard to measure with any real certainty. Note that this doesn't give better damage, just seems to give me fewernon-greats.

Throw it all into damage till you max it out, but there are some exceptions...
On BPH and PFMdon't even bother with the durability in case you get a fail (it messes up the other stats)
On barrels go for dmg then range.
On scopes go for HAM unless someone has specifically asked for range mods.
On stocks go for dmg then HAM.
Thanks guys - so much....
When you say... go for damage, and then range... how much of damage, before ranged? As much as you can?
