I've been using the macro listed in the sticky thread for a few days now and the first couple days were hicup free wonderfull days.

hicup #1.

I logged in and crafted for about 20 minutes befor i realized the macro was not awarding me Xp for what i had crafted. According to CSR " the XP should show up on your character within 24 hours, or as an alterantive you can try loggin out for about 30 minutes and the XP should show up".......tried that and NADA ZERO ZILCH XP for that crafting session was ever given to my character. the only alternative that worked was grinding each tool by hand and not using the macro.

hicup #2.

after dealing with no XP and switching to manual labor. my XP decided to kick in the next day (note: XP for previously created items was never gained. it only allowed the macro to once again grant the XP for crafting). once again after crafting for about 20 minutes or so, all of a sudden my macro starts bringing up the wronge item to craft mid macro.( ammo loaders or something) instead of the riffle barrels the macro was set for. i didnt change anything or gain a skill level. macro was running and the first couple times it ran through it worked fine them WHAMO here comes a curve ball for ya to figure out.

The only way i found to fix this one was to set my macro to some other random item let it run a couple times and set it back to riffle barrels again. though every time a gain a skill and get new schematics the macro gets confused again as to what item to attempt to create. and i have to repeate the process of reseting the number to the correct item.

hicup #3.

and now the final straw. today i log in and attempt to run some macro grinding and right off the bat none of my resorces are showing up in the sidebar to place into there repective slots. ive tried completely quiting the game and quick loggin to try and clear it up and nothing works. the only thing that shows up is my backpack. and none of my resorces are even in the backpack. they are open in my invantory as usual. So its seems like untill they get these macros fixed its gona be back to the manual labor grind for me (gag).

has anyone here had these things happen to them and know a workaround of any kind other than the manual labor?

OK, put together a pretty long reply to this, then forums took a crap so here is the truncated version:

You may have checked/not been affected by these things but they are all that come to mind.

#1: If you are getting 2 "The Crafting Session has Ended" Messages after each item, it means that either it was a crit failure(no XP) or you are near a driod/crafting station and only have 2 /nextcraftingstage in your macro. When I went through WS i did it in Coronet to listen to the /yells and get AP points where I could. Occassionally a driod would wander up to me and cause my macro to fail.

As a side note I have never had a delay in getting XP (except for Merchant for obvious reasons).

#2: Only thing that comes to mind is the Driod sneaking up on you again, happened to me a few times. It can't be the cause for both #1 and #2 but mabye its the cause for one of them.

#3: That is really strange, only thing I can think of is maybe it pulled up the advanced Schem instead of the regular Schem. Since the advanced one requires specific resources it would show nothing in you inventory.

Probably not too much help but I have ground through several profs with little problems with macros other than driods sneaking up on me. Hopefully someone who is using a macro now can post to see if anyone else is having similar problems.

I hope this gets cleared up for you. I wouldn't have made it though the grind without a macro.

I too had a problem with my xp getting stuck! Thankfully logging off and back on again sorted the problem until it arises again . . . tis strange.

ok let me clear a couple things up i guess i forget to mention in my initial post.

when i first made my macro i automaticaly put in the extra /nextcraftingstage command, but i use the abreviated version of /next as its less to type over and over. maybe i should try typing the whole command out to see if that works.

i usualy never craft in big towns, only town i ever craft in is my hometown player city of New Wook City on rori. wich is not a high trafic area. i usualy sit in front of town hall by the WS trainer we have placed in town. i think the closest crafting station we have is about 50 meters away in the basement of a player houseso that should not be a factor( unless having the extra /next in the macro messes it up when your not neer a station) even when the macro was working properly i have always gotten 2 "crafting session has ended" messages after each comlpeted item and still gotten a XP reward, all these problems have all come up withing the last 2-3 days. this way i also get to watch everyone who wanders by and i have yet to see anyone in my town carting around a droid of any kind. i guess my only other option i can think of is to try getting closer to a station and see if my resorces kick in. thats the big problem im having now wheni craft by hand the resorces show up in the little window, ive double checked and the macro is set up to craft the same item as im having to do by hand, so the problem is in the macro (or the game code) somewhere. i dont think its the actual macro as befor the publish six everything worked peechy and since patch release my macro has been nuthin but a frustration.

to top it all off im only grinding WS for a dang HOLO. so i want to spend as little time as posible getting to master. and this is REALY slowing me down.

This section will be my tips for those of you who ocationaly may experiance my hicups and cant use your macro to help speed it up a little.if you arange all the difernt windows right and set one of your mouse buttons to a "double-click" i can go as fast as the macro with a 6 second delay set on it (though when i run my macro i run with a 3 second delay sometimes i set it to 4 seconds if im getting alot of network lag). with each of the difernt windows stacked so the "next" buttons are stacked on top of each other hitting your double click button clearstwo windowsat the same time. and also putting your hotbar butons at the bottom of the screen as close towhere your next button will generatemakes for a bare minimum of mouse movment. the only real drastic movement i make is to take the mouse from the button area to where i need to select my resorces and back to my button area.

Ok i feel like a total retard now, after two days of retrying to use my macro and not seeing and resorces on the side i noticed something funny. the schematic was calling for more resorces that it should have so i read through everything on the screen and noticed it was set to advanced projectile riffle barrels instead of regular ones. but the grafic represtentation of both barrels are the same, including the two resorce slots, except advanced barrels take alot more rare materials and more of them. so i went through and found the correct schematic and everytihing is peachy now.
