I have a hugh question. My alt charater has became a Master weaponsmith. How do you determine the prices on the weapons that I make. Is there some kinda of protcall that i can follow. for instance imade a FWG5 with condition 829 Heat speed 2.7 50-114 damage 11.7. This is a early craft that i made when i first started. I want to be competive in the market but i don't want to over charge or under charge. can some one help me on this. loking at other weapons really vary in price so is really no help. Thanks

I know your going to hate this answer but it is the only one, and the reason why weapons vary in price so much. There are no set prices or formula everyone uses. Everyone prices on what they can sell at.

So you wont really know till you start selling, or not selling

I'd eaze in slow if I was you. Start with only a few models you know you can make well. Take down nots on prices and sales as you go. You'll find a price set soon enough.

Some players use formula like (20xResoruces) + (1000x#No. of builds). Up to you if thats what you prefer. You will probably find yourself over charging and under charging all over the place though.

A word on quality. It will take you another 2 or 3 months before you will be making guns of high quality. Unless of course weaponsmiths don't really hang around for long on your particular server. That 2 or 3 months will be spent collecting high quality materials.

Totally depends on your server my friend....

Experement with your vendor(s) Keep a good eye on the Bazaar, and player vendors. See what things go for. Base your prices on your own reasearch!! It's all based onyour ownexperiance If you can sella DX2 for 10k Wonderfull! I may not be able to on my server, etc...

However as a rule I keep most of my weapons under 15k unless they are a special order.I keep my weapon pup crates @ 3k And most special orders are between 25k - 100k depending on the weapon. Enhanced weapons.. another thread =)

Soar's advice is very, very good.. Another thing to consider is what is your main goal, to create good weapons, or rake in the credits? Sure we all want to make good credits but not very many weaponsmiths give a crap about the quality of their weapons... swomthing to think about =)

What is your FWG5 like today? Frankly, it doesn't matter what the stats were before you made master. What are they now? As a point of reference, I'm a 10 point Master, I've been harvesting resources now for 4 1/2 months and my FWG5 is 63-175, 2.3 Speed. Get your weapons to the caliber of other weaponsmiths and the price your stock accordingly. Until the new bazaar cap of 6K might be your best friend.
