Not all of us are lucky to have buddies who harvest for us, and i personally dont trust cross server lot trades
So why not give master weaponsmith and master armorsmith + 5 or 10 lots at master?
Putting it in the master box would stop dabbling, and we need like a gzillion resources... so why not?

Before SWG was launched there was a Profession called Miner. It allowed you to get an extra 5 or 10 lots liked you mentioned. It was taken out because people would be able to harvest millions of units on there own. So, this is a good idea but it wouldnt work.
