Thread: Schematics are broke, And I think there may be a vendor issue

I'm not going to pile on the schematic issue, since most seem to be aware of it. However there a new one I experianced last night. May be just me but here it is. I get email that I've had some items expire on my vendor, well enough I'll just go there and restock. I arrive, there's nothing in the stock room. This continues through the night, as some more items fall off, and don't go to the stock room. I'm going to write a ticket in a few, but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I'm actually wondering if there isn't a larger vendor issue in that my 6 vendors seemed to eat a TON of maint last night and start losing condition.
I gave each of them 100K of maint before I logged off, and I'll see where they are today.

Someone told me a while back that if you leave stuff in your stock room for a long time it disapears..i have never had this problem, has anyone else ?
Or is he getting confused with things falling of the bizzar and getting deleted ?

I read in the knowledge base, where items can only be kept in the stockroom for so long, i think it was 7 days. Check it out.

a) Check if you have "All" selected as category on the left, when nothing at all is selected nothing is shown in the stockroom. And "no selection at all" seems to be the new default value of the vendor... kind of stupid...
b) there was a small rollback on patch day when the emergency shutdown happened. When you have paid the maintenance in that time it was lost...

I have had a similiar occurance happen to me a number of times (this may be related to the fact that the game allows your house to get bugged by having more than 150 items in it, which in turns bugs/corrupts your character) I will go to the stockroom to resell the items there and take care of the first one and the remainder disappear. Reselecting the stockroom shows no items there. Put in a CSR on it and a SR told me my profile may be corrupted. He instructed me in how to have the profile regenerated, I followed those instructions and the problem was corrected (when you do this you loose all your ingame settings and will have to reset your toolbar contents, any keyboard changes you have made, etc.) The SR instructions were: drag Profiles folder from SWG directory to desktop; Relog into SWG. If this corrects the problem, your profile was corrupted and rebuilt properly. You can delete the folder on your desktop.If this doesn't correct the problem, return the folder from the desktop to the SWG directory and put in a /bug report.
I have discovered a workaround for the problem that seems to work without rebuilding my profile. Instead of selecting All to to show all the items in the stockroom, keep stockroom selected, go to Weapons, and select each individual weapon classification. Thisshows the weapons in that class that are in the stockroom and I can retrieve, resell or whatever I want with the weapons listed there. Give it a try, may work for you.

Yes. This happened to me right around the time of the pub release. The next day something else went off the vendor but was in the stockroom. Since then, the stuf has stayed in the stockroom correctly. There was just that one day that stuf disappeared.
More painful is the problem where the vendors keep disappearing from the Planetary map periodically, even though they're all maint'd up. I've gotta go into my tent and fiddle around a bit and then return to the Cntl-V and they reappear. Being on Talus (not "1K FROM THEED!!!!"), this really hurts sales, to say nothing of being yet another money sink. If this were rl and I was paying for advertising I wasn't getting, I'd be sueing somebody.
