My alt is grinding weaponsmith right now and i have read that the Heavy Warhead Mechanisms are good for getting lots of WCXP. I just got advanced munitions (1-0-2-0). I have the HWM schematic in my datapad, but i dont see it when i craft. Do I need a special crafting tool or crafting station? I have a good weapon crafting tool and station but it never shows up.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

It doesn't happen too often to me, but when it does, I walk "into" the crafting station and fire up the tool from there. Seems to work for me.

ok thanks for the responses.

Ill try walking into the station. I tried the relogging last night and it didnt work. I may just use my macro to make heavy axes (140+ xp per). I have my factories churning out reinforment cores at the moment.

You say that you have a good weapon crafting tool and a weapon crafting station. Is your crafting station private? I am pretty sure the schematic is too complex to be able to get it with a public crafting station.

If you have that, then the only other thing I can think of is to try moving closer. Usually I can be a little bit away from the crafting station for it to recognize it, but on a couple of occasions I have had to basically stand "in" the crafting station for it to recognize I was "next" to one.

And one final note... if you have all the resources to make them then I am very jealous

since Skeevon gas has been out of shift on my server since before I bought the game and hydron-3 gas is also not in shift. My grind is taking a while.

Yes the crafting station is private. It is in my home. 44+ functionality Weapon Crafting Station and a +15.00 fuctionality Weapon crafting tool.

I just don't see it as an option to build. I see the light warhead and such...Do i need like a structure crafting tool or something? This is all so confusing.

i have also had this problem in the past and i still have it today at times. its where a sechmaitc apperices in the draft sechmactis but when i want to craftthe weapon, its not on the weapon crafting tool options even though it says i have the sechmatic. it generally happens to me on sechmatics you learn for master weapon smith.

what usally happens is i try it later and it will apper for me to craft it. sometimes logging on and off works but not always.

this is a bug. it should apear for you to craft it after a few minits or even hours.

if its crafting HWM for wscxp then i suggest projectile rifle barrell (i think thats the one) with a good macro. you can find a good macro by entering " crafting macro" in the search box on the forum. you only need steel for this but you should shoot through the skill tree if you have enought steel. ie 450K

On a side note, is the heavy warhead mechanism even used in anything?

Proton grenades and anti-vehicular mines just use medium and light warheads...

No, it appears in no schematic at all as a component. It's there to decorate your house and help you grind quickly if you've got the gases.

I assume you mean Two-Handed Axes?

Heavy Axes are an Artisan weapon, and won't get you *any* weaponsmith xp......

the other problem may be that it is you alt that is grinding, you have to ensure that the character has admin on the house

It was just bugged. I logged in the next day and the schematic was available. Was able to grind to master in about 3 hours. Woohoo! Luckily my alt is a master doc who happened to have 100K of Skevon Reactive Gas.
