Um yeah what your asking for is highly illegal. An offense you can and will get banned for. Yes I have officially seen it done now. So no you do not want said macro, because if a csr comes and checks out your character and finds it. Well I hope you enjoyed wasteing that fifteen bucks.

AFK Crafting and Combat macros are illegal. The only AFK macros you can do are healing surveying macros. You can use crafting combat macros that are not afk, but you will have to click to make them work. Its a six hour grind useing the exgrinders guide. Do not be a lazy puss bucket, and earn what you get.

Not to be rude but lazy punks like you make me sick.

Last ticket I got from a CSR said its not illegal, as long as you do not use a 3rd party program, all ingame macros are legal. I once asked this because the people AFKing the meatlumps, when the 2nd deadeye event came out where stealing all the kills. The CSR pretty much said tough luck.

As far as I knew ANY macro written in the in-game system was fair game, this includes afk spawn camping. Just visit Tyrena on Bria some night and you'll see EVERY static spawn camped by AFKers.

The only think that's not legal are 3rd party macro programs that click the mouse, etc. However, i can't imagine how SOE could prove you used one.

Besides, what does it matter if he's actually sitting there getting RSI from clicking or using technology to his advantage and grinding crafting while he sleeps, or carries out a healty normal life

As far as Weaponsmithing goes, you cannot grind the profession AFK without using a third-party program. The use of in-game macros are perfectly legit and provide a great advantage to the grind system, however, they do not allow the possibility of complete AFK grinding.

If you want to grind AFK why play the game at all??? Otherwise they should have advertised SWG as "the Fantastic New Game That Plays Itself So You Don't Have To!". Grinding sucks and is supposed to suck!Itrepresents the difficult and monotonous path to mastering a skill as your character hones his/her skills. Macro's are great inventions that allow you to vastly increase your learning efficiency. Think of them as a knowledgeable guide telling your character a better way to do something. But having an AFK macro is like being able to sit in school texting your friends on a mobile phone all day whilst still picking up straight A's. It just doesn't happen!

well, afk grinding crafting profs - illegal cause it involves 3rd part. programs

and let me tell you... WS is painfull to level. just follow the guides, and do either the long barrel way or the short warhead way, but you'll spend at least one or two weeks to find the ressources for the fast way.

btw why do you pay if you don't wanna play ?

/agreed I'm always amazed that people want to afk grind for days on end... then they drop the profession right after they finish it. This is a game for crying out loud! play it and have fun!

Actually I think professions such as WS or AS are on the top of the high end content in that game, very difficult to be good at, and very rewarding.

not like: /unarmedknockdown2 /unarmedhit3 or other things like that.

crafting in SWG is really the best content a player can get, and it's a well known fact.

plus there's no point to grind it in 2 hours or so, cause it takes weeks, or months to gather decent ressources to compete with other weaponsmiths.
