Thread: Few questions on VK's can someone help me out...

I just recently finished my grind and got started on making some weapons for a buddy of mine who is a tk. I made him a few VK's and was thinking of making some more and trying to sell them to make some money. I am mainly wondering what to price them at and also how my vk may compare to some of you out there.
My best one so far is 966/966 2.1spd 31/157dmg 34.8wnd +10/10/10 range 38/54/38, I used a high powered vibro motor +20 max damage.

So, without the motor, you've got a 137 max damage VK there.
Not bad for a start.
VKs cap at 147 max damage. If you check your resources, you shold find you have a couple areas you can easily improve in.
As for prices, they're fairly server specific, so check yourservertrade forum.

If i were u i would wait to use those motors till u get 10 more points max dmg. Pretty much the standard on vks is 2.2 147 max damage.(pretty much the same on every server). Just search for the best resources on your server. as far as how much to charge it really depends on your server's economy. I am on ahazi and they generally go for around 9-12k

Ahazi - 2.2 147 Max Dam. Sell for 8.5K Keep plenty on my vendor in singles and in crates of 10 and have to restock daily.

Yeah I can improve on a few resources but not by much, also are there any part of the vibro vlade or the vk that doesnt matter what the resource stats are? I know with some crafted items, certainresourcesdont effect the outcome atleast as far as I have been told.

yeah, class 3 solid petrochem doesn't matter for the blade vibro units. No Shock Resistance

Also what is the normal stats with an advanced vibro blade I am currently unable to find class 3 solid petro on my server so not able to make the vk's with these.

sounds almost like you are using normal vibro motors instead of advanced vibro motors. There is about a 10 point difference between using normal and advanced motors, and 167 damage with the high powered motor would put you at the current expected cap of base vk damage of 147 + 20(high powered motor). Just a guess.

So is the 147max with advanced vibro motors? If so, and there is a 10dmg difference from regular motor and advance then I have hit the max for the VK's. Like I stated earlier I am unable to locate some solid petro class 3 to make advance so im kinda stuck on the 157 vice 167 which would be nice to make a bunch of 167s and hope for some good dmg slices.

Yes unless you have some patch day schematics then 147 is the current max.
