Thread: Scythe schematics?

Ok, when can a Weaponsmith use the Schematics that you have to get from a loot? Also, how many times can they be used? Can they be put into a factory?
I know these sound like n00b questions, but thats what I am. I just began 2 weeks ago and made novice WS a few days ago.

For a scythe, there is 2 uses, and all the other schems vary! But the scythe, hack, geo blaster, and dxr-6b all require geo cubes! To make more than 2 scythes from one schem, you need a set of 7 cubes with same serial, and 7 pastes of the same serial, then you can make 2 from one use of the schem, and if you get lucky enough to find another set of each, you can make 2 more scythes from one schem, totaling four! But trust me, its not easy for cheap to find that many cubes and paste in sets of seven!

Scythe Schems don't require cubes or paste. They require two Geo sword Cores and two resouces. This person is talking about making Geo Sword or Reinforced cores, not a scythe. Personally, I don't know how, or, if you can get more than 2 scythes from a scythe schem.

Actually he is sorta talking about the scythe. You're correct that the scythe requires geo sword cores, not cubes. But by getting 2 sets of 7 identical cubes (agents are optional but in theory improve the finished product) using them to make 2 sets of 6 identical geonosian sword cores you can then turn around and make 2 manufacturing schematics to get a total of 4 scythe out of one looted scythe schematic.

Figured i'd rehash this topic instead of starting a new one.
there is a guy on our server trade forum selling what he claims to be 9 identical serial # cubes.
I've noticed that until very recently (at least from my perspective) theres been a drought of yellow cubes for the past month or so. now (if this is true) out comes an identical 9 i'm hoping it's a sign of things to come.. I wonder if loot items go through spawn periods just like resources. Anyone else hear of a group of more than 7 cubes with the same serial #?

I've noticed yellows not dropping as much as well. ButI have seen firsthand Acklay drop cubes in sets higher than 7 (got a set of 9 whites, whee). Seems to be very very rare.
