Are master artisan components needed for any weapons guys?
Just wanted to see if I could free up more points for other proffs, thanks in advance.

There is one, I forget which, that you can just "leave out" and continue to craft. The artisan components don't offer anything anyway as far as stats are concerned, so use the worst possible materials you can scrounge up.

It's the spraystick, it's an optional component and does absolutely nothing for the finished weapon, trust me, I've tested it.

IMO, no it isn't. Assuming you're maintaining at least a couple vendors, you can free up 20 skill points just by dropping MArt and DA 1-4. If you drop surveying 1-4 and get a guildie to make your MArt components and do your surveying for you, you can have34 skill points free. Don't know about you, but those 34 skill points just to make stun batons (cuz who really is going to buy those other weapons?) isn't worth it to me.

I have a guildie make the schems for me... 1000 of each component lasts a long time
