ok can some plz explain to me in detail how i can make an ackley stun baton

can i use geo reinforce cores?

or normal ones?

what can i expect to get by using (one of the above)?

i want to make a really cool one of these, but i dont want to make a wrong move

thanks in advance

For an acklay stun baton you can use acklay bones.

A Geo Core stun baton requires geo reinforcement cores.

Ive personally made acklay batons that top out around 399-410 andgeo batons around 367 if I remember correctly.

He did answer your question...Acklay bones replace the core in a stun baton, power hammer or gaffi stick. And if he's making 400+ max damage batons he is a veteran.

Actually, your question *was* answered as it was posed. For future reference, if you wish a specific answer or answers, please ask specific questions. Now, here is an overall summary for stun batons, based on available resources on Ahazi. These will vary somewhat Smith to Smith, and whatever resources have spawned on your server, but for the most part, stats will range in this neighborhood.

Unenhanced Stun Batons Speed 2.5 Damage Max 125 unsliced

Geo-enhanced Stun Batons Speed 2.5 Damage Max up to 170 unsliced

Acklay Stun Batons Speed 3.0/3.1 Damage Max 147+ unsliced (quoted PH Speed in the original post, my mistake)

Both crafted Reinforce Cores and Geo-crafted cores will have near identical if not identical stats for speed, damage is where they differ. For Acklay however, the bone is used as a replacement for the Core, therefore you do not receive any speed modifiers from the bone itself, thus yes it may possibly do greater damage, but at a cost of overall weapon speed. The bones themselves have a base of 65 min 65 max, up to min/max of 300+. Base bone drops are the norm, 100+ bones would be rare, and anything above 150+ these days would be considered extremely rare.

fault lies on me, in the fact that i wasnt to specific in what i was asking ............. my apologies to all

and i never crafted with acklay bones til now on & off the server that i am on.

i have been spending more time on another server as suppose to my WS ( FS grinding )

i wasnt clear on the fact that:

if you had to craft with the acklay bones in the reinforced core and/or in a geo reinforced core that was my confusion

i have dabbled in the geo department, yes

but not the acklay depeartment at all til i was asked to craft a stun baton with acklay bones

but i got the jist of it and crafted a:

3.1 150-220 damage H-8 A-40 M-34 stun baton

copper i had SR 784

steel i had SR 989

iron i had SR 986

pwr cond quality 4

gemstone SR 376

so how do you guyz think i did? ok? ehhh? so so? or pretty good for a first time crafting with acklay bones?

Sounds like you did great to me!

The Power Conditioner quality doesn't matter though. I used to spend alot of good resources on those until I learned that.

Im sorry I didn't answer your question to your satisfaction Masteryoda28.

As far as the veteran part, the board account may be new, but I've been a WS since September 2003. Until recently I used my main account for posting and I started making use of this account for trade forums and advertisements.

My base stun batons model as of February 2005 comes out to the following:

Stun Baton- Model# o7s97rap

Speed: 2.6
Damage: 87/130
Wound: 14.6%
Range Mods: +9/+9/+9
HAM Mods: 20/52/46
