CU Weapons
I think SOE has promised at least the Proton Rifle & Carbine in the CU, not ROTW, so let's see how this pans out.
I don't see the Razor Knuckler there, so I'm not too mad about that, but at least stick with your friday features, or go back and edit them to say they are part of RoTW.

Lol was kinda in a oooh wow, well I guess they lied oh boo hoo, well not like we didnt expect it did we? Oh? What's this? All the best stuff is being looted? Oh! what a tragedy guess the devs lied again

325. Czerka darts the only comparable carbine really (cert for cert) is around 270 w/o stock/gorax.

I remember saying this a while ago, that majority of the new weapons/items/armor would all come in RoTW whilst the CU would just give us the new combat. It's simple business you give someone everything they need to use the new weapons/items/armor but you make them pay to get them.

You get the proton carbine from a wookiee named Carl on Kashyyyk. Don't know about the rifle, but carb is ROTW.

yeah they have went a step to far for my liking with all these weapons , to promise something for so long , then just to go back on there word...alas , i expect it from them now (which is a shame
) ,
cant wait for a new ws corospondent to see if we can get a little feedback for the first time in a while, dont get me wrong , sea raptor done some great work for us , i just feel that his stepdown came at a bad time, and was probably partly due to some of these things we are only just finding out about since cu was pushed live .

Reportedly the Proton Rifle is part of a random loot table from a CL 92 boss mob in the Myyydril caverns...
Loot schematics wouldve been better, and having actual CU rather than CU promised turned ROTW weapons too.

I agree. I got the Corellian Destroyer, a novice commando weapon off a random mob on Kashyyyk. It's pretty crappy (like 150-200 dps). Now why cant we make these weapons? It seems half of the "newCU weapons" are rewards for doing stupid quests. Of all of them, they made the Junti Mace this way.. after months of conceptualizing how to get one, now you do a stupid Ryzzak mission and it's handed to you? I want to do a long ass quest to get the schem! It seems the schem'd weapons you have to actually fight to get (Scythe, DE-10) are majorly nerfed in the CU aswell.
Am I the only one who had +112 krayted ABPHs waiting for a DE-10 when the CU hit? They were converted to essentially -.5 speed +10 damage *cries*
