Hey fellow smithies,
Havent posted here in a long while. Since before CU. Teaching fule time and 35 hours of Lowe's a week will do that to you though. But I got to tell you I love the new expermentation in the CU. I dont know how everyone feels about, and I havent intensively crafted yet, but I think it is great. I think it will eliminate alot of the downfalls of all of us haivng the exact same weapons. Thi is the variets that everyone wanted...
What are the downfalls...

the down falls are that on low populated servers tehre is no longer a reason to craft anything under CL40, and even those don't sell very well. the main draw back is that without new players low level weapons are not needed, thus half the weapons we can craft are of absolutely no use.
then there are the weapon caps. every stat has some level of cap on it to keep it in a certain range. many of these caps are hit on assembly for low level weapons, and the wound % cap is hit on almost every weapon upon assembly, making it appear as though wound % is a big deal, but it is as useless as ever.
the main benefit is, as you said, a variety of ways to craft. you can now be known for speed, damage, or low action cost, or all three if you choose. this gives lower level smiths a chance to make and sell things by focusing on a different stat line.

We had most of the old timers on all weekend Cel. We were missin' ya!
Oz, Tibs, Snypes, and even Rontor is threatening to not quit again!
