Thread: KRAYT Tissue Question . Damage Caps?

Say i use a 150 krayt tissue in one gun and a 130 tissue in another (same guns). Is there a damage cap for weapons now? Will you only be able to experiment the damage up to a certain point?
I just got back into WS and wanted to catch up a bit.

I have yet to hit the damage cap on anything. I do hit the wound cap a lot though. I havent used uber tissues though so I guess I havent had the opportunity. I have heard of people hitting the cap on speed on certain low end weapons when krayting them.

Used 194 damage tissues last night, andbase DPS goes up around 6 points per 1 point of experimentation to damage and 5 points per 1 point of experimentation to speed. Now if you use more than 1 point it goes up even more than say 2 points used 6 + 6 = 12 but now sometimes you can get +15 added to base DPS. So I think using 3 points at a time is optimal as I have not seen it add more @ 4 points used.

Yeah basically if you hit or near a cap, experiment in something else.
I messed up and wasnt watching the onscreen message assuming it was another Wound Cap warning but actually got a damage cap warning as well. Hence I probably wasted 2 experimental points on damage instead of speed. My Laser Carbine came out at 290 Base DPS. I think that i might have hit 300 Base DPS on it if I hadnt messed up.

Made an adv. laser rifle with some +135 tissues. Capped at 1095.

I made a adv laser rifle with +30s and one with +73s
all components experimented exact same way. ........the one with base tissues ended up with higher dmg

only damage cap I've reached so far is the high capacity scatter at 948. Reached a couple of speed caps at 1.73 (intimidator, blaster fist)
