Since I couldn't see a pattern like there used to be, here's what I did:
Boot your crafting kit.
type into the chat window: /selectDraftSchematic 01
Press enter
It will probably load the incorrect draft schematic, press the back button.
In your chat tab, press the up arrow to recal the last command, backspace once, type the number "2", hit enter.
Repeat until you find your draft schematic
Yeah it sounds like a pain, but in actuallity it took me about3 or 4minutes to find my med warhead (182) and you'll get that back in no time with your automated macro.

quick way to do it . if you are already useing the schematic and when you train it moves take the number of new schematics you learn and cut it in half and add to the last number. t worked for me on my last 3 boxes of WS.

Here's how to find the number:
Make sure you do not have the auto-sorting of datapad contents enabled in options. If you do, disable it and relog (may have to restart the game, not sure about that one).
Open your datapad in the Draft Schematics section and start counting left to right, top to bottom - the first schematic is number 0. When you get to the schematic you're looking for, that's the number you want in your macro.
Note that this (probably) won't work if you have schematics requiring a different tool than a general or WDG tool (skip those when counting if you have any of them - e.g. if you've got schematics from other professions than Artisan or Weaponsmith). It will also only work if you're standing by a crafting-station, as those schematics requiring a crafting-station will also be skipped if you're not using one.
