I've managed to loot a Crystal. It says its to be used in making Melee weapons. Does anyone know of its value? Are these a rare item because I've never looted one before?

Yes in order to see the stats, you must let a jedi look at it. However, just keep it and wait until you can read it, I hav heardn stories of people stealing crystals.

Hahaha heard of peopel stealing crystals?

Well firstly a jedi can see thr stats of a crystal through trade window they don't have to have it traded to them. SO if peope are getting there crystals stolen then thats becasue they are stupid enough to do 1 of 2 things.

1/ Trade crystal entirely to Jedi, the said jedi runs off with it.

OR

2/ Trade crystal to someon who ISN"T Jedi and they run off with it.

NEVER trade your crystal to anyone. A jedi only needs to see the crystal in trade window to tell you the stats nothign more.

before patch 9, any jedi who looks at it through a trade window can tell you the stats. Although the stats will change after plublish 9. In addition, after 9, a jedi won't be able to tell you the stats without making the crystal only usuable by them. Stats will only appear after attuning the melee component, and making it worthless to everyone else.

hi all, im a pikeman 1-1-1-1 and ch 3-3-3-3 and soon after pub 10 im trying for jedi! but i just looted a green crystal from a some 1....do i have to find a jedi to look how good it is? and if its just looted will it be ok?

the crystal will be ok, the stats however will change after pub 9
