I am a new MASTER WEAPONSMITH on flurry. I have been told a few different things on using the regular componets rather the advanced one. People have told me that weapons can be made just as good using regular componets rather than advanced ones. Like using regular vibro units rather than advanced ones, or blaster handlers than advanced ones. Could someone let me know if this is right or if i have been told wrong.

I am a fairly new Weaponsmith myself, but I have noticed a significant difference when using them. Just my opinion....

It really depends on what kind of stats you want the final weapon to have.

For instance, adv vibro units will add about 10 points to the damage in a vibro knuckler in my experience, but it is also slows the VK down slightly. So if you value speed over damage for a particular model, you would want to go with the regular vibro units.

And then there is the problem with the rhodium steel in adv blaster barrels, which is always low quality. A regular blaster barrel, made from very high quality resources, does nearly as much damageas the adv version because of this.

You'll just have to play around with the different parts, and see which ones give you the results you want. One determining factor is going to be how high the quality of your resources are.
