umm.... what does it do?

i read the FAQ and it didn't mention it (or maybe i didn't look hard enough)

i'm a pistoleer and so far 30% is about as high as it gets but these new DE-10's have high wound %'s and figured that it was maybe an important stat

so.... who wants to help me out here?

Chance the weapon will strike an open wound on the opponent.

Wounds are the black stuff you see in your bars sometimes. If your weapon has a very high wound chance, you'll blacken the hell out of your opponent, so to speak.

thanks, i kind of thought how that's how it worked

my next question then is how useful is it and what numbers are considered good?

like when an NPC is shooting at me, i usually just get 1 wound at a time, i hope that's not how our weapons work

It's useless in PVE and mostly useless in PVP since most people will rebuff before rejoining the fight and the doc will heal them, or they're TKA and they med off the wounds, plus they'll usually die before you cause a significant amount of wounds even if you have one of those weapons with 50+ wound chance.
