Thread: power ups...benefit vs. that other thing

made a damage power up that increased both speed and max damage


of course the increase in damage, 31% is great

but the increase in speed, 18% is not so good


so does anyone care about the increase in speed? As in customers

I try to go for a :middle of the road" power-up

yes increase in speed does matter ( more so for peeps whose speed mods are less than +100 ) . on chimaera server i have seen +31% damage , +6% speed powerups , so i am guessing with the right resources and enough experimentation points its possible to make powerups that give a big damage bonus without too much of a speed penalty .


p.s. the powerupsi mentioned were 6k a crate which is great value for money considering each powerup has 500 uses when applied to weapon .
