I think the best weapons will be capped on speed,damage and SACduring crafting alone.Thus allowingslicing to improveCritical Hit chance.

Although the smuggler side of me is still a little mixed up in how I feel about the new loot for slices... the WS side of me is looking forward to making some awesome weapons.
Since you can now guarantee an 8% damage slice.... I can see a lot of Capped damage ultra low SAC weapons appearing soon

whats funny is if the max of the weapon has been reached you can't slice the stat 
so if you have a GOOD weaponsmith the slices are nearly useless.. or you could just have him make a gun special with EVERYTHING in speed, and then slice high for damage.. thats the only way i see it really being useful..
What most people don't realize is you have to slice each stat in an order, so to get to the highest loot slice you won't be able to slice any other stats cause you will be at 95%

What I meant was... if your using some decents enhancements, you can craft to within 8% of the max damage then throw extra points in SAC...

If I had good enough enhancements, I'd rather max out damage, get low SAC and then slice for Critical Damage chance. I think 10% chance of critical hit, combined with Adv. Critical from BH, would make for a nice combo.
