Hello all you Weaponsmiths, I have a quick question reguarding Acklay bones. This is my first set I have had the chance to get a weapon made with, and I would like some advice one what exactly I should expect from it. The stats are 76-120. I would like a stun Baton made with it, but if you think it would be better served in another weapon please let me know. (I am only fencer for melee so it must be a 1 handed wep)

my WS is fairly new to the melee business and we have been having many discussions on what would compliment the Acklay bone best. We have white Geo Cubes 10/10 Avail as well as random rancor teeth. I am willing to go out and buy or try to loot anything else that you guys recomend.

I am sorry if this is a common question for you guys, but any good advise would be appreciated.

As far as an Acklay Bone is concerned, when you put it in a weapon, no other looted component goes in the weapon.

The Acklay Bone takes the place of the Reinforcement Core.

The bone you have is pretty fantastic, frankly.

I made 3.1 speed 136 - 211 damage unsliced with 87 - 120 acklay bones ... I would go stun baton over power hammer with these. I only do Enhanced weapons because I found out I don't have enough good resources to compete with the bigger names on my server soI do enhanced weapons and try to hunt my own enhancements.

ok thanks for the input, I was under the impression that you could use the geo cubes in place of something else on the baton, thanks for the clarification.

You can. Geo Cubes are used to make Geonosian Reinforcement Cores, which *also* replace the Reinformencet Cores.

Essentially, they use the same slot as the Acklay Bone, and you can only have one or the other.

I would use the cubes to make your own sword cores not reinforcement cores for the Scythe Blade ... I make a killing off of Scythes
