Weaponsmith Archive

I picked up a droid for storage that also has a Weapon, Droid and General crafting module installed in it. I am wondering which is better for experimentation success - using my +43 crafting station or travelling to a research city and using my droid. Has anyone experimented to see which yields a better experimentation success rate?
