Im a master with a suit givin 2 to exp. and assembly. I am currently crafting on a +42 machine. would going to a research center and crafting really help me out that much?

Absolutely. I almost always craft in one, and when I'm outside of the city I notice a huge difference. Far more good and moderate successes.

I don't really feel it helps that much unless you are crafting some enhanced or limited use items. Honestly, I really don't notice much of a difference and I decided to make my city go with Improved Job Market. It just helps out more people than the "kinda noticable" improvement in my crafting outcomes. From a mayor's perspective it's not worth it.
