I was recently told by a few guildmates that there's a few shops on the server reselling my rifles, including a Gorax Tusken Rifle I made (around 330 max, I think it was 4.something speed).
I made my cool 400k off of it, but I'm kind of irked at someone reselling my wares... But then again, the guy DID buy it...
Thoughts/ideas/opinions?

I wouldn't worry about it. I have some smuggler's who I sell stuff to, then they slice it and sell it on their own vendors. As long as I get paid you can do whatever you want to with your new weapon.

I would talk to them about it, and or ban them from my shop. I put a lot of effort into making my weapons, and i dont like it when people exploit my work to make quick cash.

How is it exploitation?
Did you *give* them the item for free?
Once the item is sold, it's theirs to do with as they wish.
Anyone who wants to buy stuff off my shop, is free to do so. They want to resell, well, that's fine by me: they're paying me to advertise my weaponry. Darn, I hate being exploited so.... no, wait.....

If they paid you for it then it's really no business of yours what they do with it. I cannot understand why people would ban anyone for reselling their goods. Money is made from the initial sale and if you see that your goods will sell for more then adjust your prices.

Not a lot you can do about it, except raise your price. I had a guildmate point out to me someone had one of my pre nerf flame throwers for sale for 300K after they had it sliced. That is about 250K more then I sell them for.

I had a problem with this a while back. I finally upped prices so anyone who resold said weapons would be doing so but at a loss at what they could get them. I then left a polite but firm message on my vendors with my reasons behind this and the names of said individuals in case anyone wanted to speak with them about the rise in the price of weapons.

okay you sold it unsliced....he sliced it probably getting a decent slice....and sells it for more.
I will never understand why people are bothered by this, I do this alot with resources. If someone has a resource insanely cheap well I buy it and put it on my vendor for double the price. The people I bought it from are happy because they got out of it what they wanted.

i sit on both side of the fence hear, but what happend to me kinda left a sour taste in my mouth, i used to sell scythes for a cheap as possible, so my customers always knew they could get a nice fair deal at my shop, then i found 6 of my scythes on a vendor one day, all were sliced, and even the bad speed slices cost more than i origionaly sold them for , kinda pissed me off a bit

mmm but it's OK for a WS to get a smuggler to slice all their stock, pay them a miserable fee, and then sell the items for tens of thousands credits more if they had a good slice?
IMO there's nothing you can or should do about this, except maybe raise your prices...
