Thread: What's the deal with Vibro Knucklers?

Are Vibro Knucklers still bugged or not?


The VKs that I had were all crafted pre-cu and were bugged, I was getting only 90 – 200 hit points, so I’ve been fighting bare handed all this time and getting 300 – 400 hit points.

I’ve seen other people using them again, and I was told that the VKs crafted post-cu were not bugged.

So I sent out and bought a new ‘expensive’ VK and I’m still only getting 90 – 200 hit points.

Perhaps the one I bought was crafted pre-cu, but how can I tell which are post-cu and weather its bugged or not?



I will display the "Test Center" icon until SWG is bug free.

They are CL14 weapons... they are going to suck bugged or not.

But as thats not that helpful to you - I must admit I am not that sure... I guess most people are use VKs for a few days till they move up to a higher CL weapon so not much attention has been paid to them.


Might be worth taking a look a the TK Forums see if anyone has any information there.

I dont know about the VK, but I can confirm that the Massasi knuckler (same CL better SAC) is indeed working.

LOL melee is what helps weaponsmiths out alot of the times. sure BHs are the flavor of the month with the loot drop but if u think about it, melee (besides jedi) are the only ones who can solo stuff and not have problems. I work deals with weaponsmiths on my server and go do stuff like avatar, DJKs(expiermention tapes), Geo Caves, hell i solo krayts and other stuff without using the whole knockdown snare bull crap. so if i were you i would invest more into melee and find a potential deal with a melee on ur server for this seems to work the best for the ones im helping

i started with melee i loved it made so many scythes and acklay ph's stun batons how i miss those.


And i can solo a krayt by outrunning him with my pistoleer/bh alt oh and heal offcourse hehe

My weaponsmith toon solos nunas by throwing his uber CDEF at them.

Thx for your responses. I have multiple toons with various professions, and obviously I have not played my TKM much since the CU.


And duh!!! silly me, I wasn’t thinking in terms of the VK being a ‘novice’ weapon.
I was used to it being the TKM’s default weapon of choice (pre-cu).


I purchased a Blastar Fist and a Massassi Knuckler which has better ‘special attacks’ but oddly enough, I still get more 'default attack’ hit points bare handed.


I wonder if that’s because the toon was a TKM pre-cu, hence the he’s bugged.


In any case, thx again for your help!!

Actually I think there's a snafu in the code for TKA's. Most of the ones I talk to do better damage unarmed.

VK's got the hardest nerf from the CU... essentially a CLR54 weapon pre-cu got knocked down to CLR 14 post-cu...
