Thread: best metals

Ok guys i just started wepon smith and i am still in the middle of grinding to master but i was wondering if there is a list of the best metals i should look for since i all ready have harvesters working. I know to look out for high conductivity (excuse the spelling) and high overal quality but i was wondering if there is a specific list of metal names i should look for or does the quality change even within the metals.

Look up the schematics for the weapons you'd like to make, make a list and start harvesting. Advanced Blaster Power Handlers are your friend. Gather as many resources as you can that are required to make them. You cannot have a big enough stack. Resist the temptation to trade and DO NOT GRIND with future resource stock. Good luck.

Well your on the right path knowing to focus on conductivity and overall quality. Some weapons (among the most popular i.e. vibroknucklers) focus on unit toughness and shock resistance, that's important too inthose cases. As for what metals to search for by name alone, there is none. The names and stats change weekly. You just need to look for the type of metal and hope the stats are good in that rotation. Some important types to look for that you will need in the future are; Platinite Copper, Doonium Iron, Codoan Copper, Mythra Copper, Duralloy Steel, Desh Copper, Ditanium Steel, Polonium Iron, Thoranium Steel and basically any thing that goes into the advanced sub-components of a weapon. (all should have high conductivity and overall quality). It takes a lot of patience to wait for these metal types to rotate, let alonehave the stats that you desire. Good Luck
