My roomate recently got about 20 Rancor teeth while out hunting. What part of the melee schematic does this replace, and are they even worth it? He has one that is over 200 on the high end of damage. Thank you for the info.

They go into Sword/Reinforcement Cores I believe, mainly for swords.

I am a master...my advance sword core schematic no longer shows an enhancement slot? Okay, I am behind the times reading updates. What have I missed????? Or am I plagued with a SOE bug tonight?

They are not an enhancement to advanced sword cores, they actually replace sword cores in the final combine. Most rancor teeth are complete crap, and all the ones I have seen are a positive speed modifier, which is bad.

My adv sword cores are around 43min-43max with a -.6 to speed, so just compare the stats on the rancor teeth. For example, if you use a rancor tooth that is 50max and .5 speed, it will add about 7 max damage to the sword, but you'll lose 43 min damage, plus the speed of the sword will be 1.1 higher(slower). Using this example, my 2H curveds would go from (guessing min damage) 80-249, 2.5, to 37-256, 3.6. Better? Not really, no. But if you truly have a rancor tooth that is +200, that would create a killer sword.

Cn they be used in place of the reinforcement core? or just the sword core?

my rancor swords are 3.5 speed max damage 299

master swordmen love them
