as far as materials go... Kammris Iron (avg SR 970 and Power Hammer Requirement), Duralloy Steel (avg. SR 960), Polysteel Copper (avg. SR 780) and some high SR Polymer (This Chemical has nomin/maxset on the stats so good luck)

Go to SWGCraft.com and check the history for those resources to see which have been the best to spawn so far (though I think the database there currently only goes back 2 months).
As for Rancor teeth, the low-end ones are worthless because they barely add anything to max damage, they nerf min damage, significantly slow the weapon down and greatly increase the HAM costs. If you want to use a Rancor tooth for your sword, you should use one with about +100 or greatermax damage (or thereabouts) to make it worthwhile.

Shadowfire just had a spawn of 1000 SR Kammris, I have all ten harvesters working on it as I type.
Howdy;
Yeah - rancor tooth is a NO GAINER. Double the speed on my current swords for a minor MAx up.
By the time you look at the -12 on ideal and see the normal +8 to +12, that extra 8 or so Max HP is a joke. I have no use for this Busted Enhancer.

He figured that doing less damage but actually being able to hit something consistenly was a good trade off. So I experimented a reinforcement core down to -7. I then put them in a power hammer and got the rnage mods down to 0. The speed went from 5.4 (for my standar PHs) up to 6.3. The dmg went from 468 max to 423 (don't recall min) but the guy got back to me to say that he hits a lot more consistently now, and that a good dmg slice on one and he saw little difference in the average dmg done per hit.I am now intent on getting my LVAs down to a somewhat acceptable level of range mods.Oh and steer well clear of rancor teeth unless they have yellow/green text and even then do the math before you replace your sword core...
This is exactly why I have a 'range edition'.
