Thread: DE-10 Shoule we use our best tissues? Or just basic ones since the barrel determines damage?

I have some +100, +50 and plenty of +30 tissues. I keep hearing we should make DE-10s with base tissues since the barrell affects the damage significantly.
Has anyone made a lot of DE-10s with varying tissues? If so, do the higher end tisues produce a much greater weapon?

i am not really sure the barrell determines damage
i made one with a yellowand 118 tissue came out to aron 394
made one with 100 dam tissue came out to abotut mid 370's
i would use the best tissue you have if i were you

a side note, the one with yellow barrell did does have about 30% more wound chance, was wondering why this was.

yeah barrel does effect some stats, its not always damage tho, as guy said above , some barrels ive used have added to wound % some have added to max damage. i feel its really anoying to have hidden stats on a loot component , but thats the way it seems to be im affraid, i would risk your best tissues imo and hope for a damage barrel, ive had a barrel thats added more damage than base tissues b4.

Only use good tissues, yeloow barrels will give min max dam,wound %,range......i just made 3 using yellow barrels.one added 20 min/max dam/one 25 min max dam/other wound % ..even a white lettered barrell still use higher end tissues atleast a 60 ish dam if you cant come across really good ones

Definitly use the best tissues, even if you have a really good dmg barrel you still want to make the thing as high end as possible.

Don't wast theDe-10 barrel on crap tissues. They are too hard to get hold of.
Use the best, and if your barrel is yellow, be ready for a nice surprise (I have ones that added 40dmg).
It's a cool weapon, big hunk of iron.

Eh? Jedi camp 0,0 all day, they are very easy to get, on chilastra I get about 3-4 jedi coming to me every week with 5-6 sets of schematic/barrels. I use most all my tissue i get in those and have even made some with no tissue for collectors models.

Nevertheless, these are still the rarest weapon in the game, and most difficult to make, therefore they make a great gun to put good tissue into. I mean, what would you rather have, a Krayt DE-10 or a Krayt Republic Blaster?

Berserker rifle is rarer, but there are only a few of those left since they cant be crafted anymore.

I use the best tissues I can on DE-10s and as a side note on yellow barrels...
I have used 2 so far and I used the same tissues along with white barrels so subtracting out to find the extra stats of the yellow barrels they were:
1) +3 min / +16 max / -.1 speed / +8.1% wound chance / +12 Ideal range
2) +4 min / +25 max /+11.4% wound chance / +9 Ideal range
