Thread: Exceptional Advanced Rifle Barrels?

Does anyone know Who/What drops these?
Can anyone throw out some stats that they have seen on these?
I understand that they are RARE but I am willing to spend an eternity finding one as long as I know I am searching in the right places.

I believe Nym's NPCs drop them along with other weapon components.

I believe any high level NPC has a chance of dropping exceptional/legendary weapon components, such as Nightsisters for example.

Its not just high level NPCs that can drop weapons and components. Rancors and Krayt Dragons can also spit up nice weapons, armor, and components sometimes. I know for a fact a set of Exeptional barrels were looted from a Krayt a few months ago. Most Exeptional and Legendary drops seem to come from Nightsisters, but that's probably because high level nightsisters are quite easy find, where asKrayts, Lord Nyax, Uber Tuskens, etc., takes a bit more work to locate.
