No, it's just rare, and like all resources, usually sucks. The rarity just makes it seem to take forever between good spawns. I found some just a day or two ago (on TC i think, but not sure) that was in the high 700s.
Next time a good one comes around, mine like crazy. You can never have enough Irolunn.

Best Irolunn Reactiveon Corbantis was 966 OQ. We've had three or four spawns in the 900's, and one spawn that was 897 OQ.

I broke down cause I had felt the resource shaft for so long that I bought about 27k or so units of Irolunn reactive gas that had 700 some odd OQ for about 100k. I desperately needed it and i'm still looking for the other resources for the advanced BPs. I mean I think I have gone through 4 or 5 resource shifts and it still has not spawned nore has that danged Ostrine carbonate ore. That is really rare to me.

All my iroluun gas vanished yes vanished! on starsider about 40k of it from months ago good spawn I'd not been on that char for a while so think its futile trying to raise a ticket, I've looked everywhere for it can't find it now I'm back to having to wait until it spawns again before I produce weapons as I just won't produce low quality and sell to the market as I feel I am ripping folks off. *wonders if there is a market for cheap t21's with standard power handlers* *shouts* BASIC t21's get yer basic t21's here!
and erm ok at the risk of sounding like a noob what do you mean by gate?

He means some resources will never have higher than a certain amount in 1 or more stats. IE Desh copper will never have higher than 372(?) UT.

OQ is never gated on any resource though, it is always between 1 and 1000

Did they gate Irolunn Gases OQ? Since Butefeefee on Radiant, which had around 860 OQ the best I've seen in perhaps 6 or more months is 450ish. Are all the other servers experiencing the same OQ gate on gases the past 6 months?

Eepogyl on Intrepid was 992 OQ. I recently bought 25k of it for 125 cpu. In retrospect, I should have purchased 50k. The next best spawn ever was 838 OQ and it goes down dramatically from there. It's definitely a rare spawn.

I've been a MWS for a bit over 6 months. The first Irolunn I was able to find after mastering was about 545ish OQ almost right after I mastered. After that it's just been complete garbage. We had a spawn about a week or two ago with an OQ of 14. It's killing me. I can be pacified that my ABPH are 19/39, but I'd like to break the 20/40 mark.

On Chimeara we just recently waited 6 months for an Irolunn spawn, when it did it was a beauty though - 966OQ. When it despawned it was replaces by another Irolunn, cant remember the stats as after getting 1mil+ of the good stuff I didnt want some that was about 400OQ

10/09/03 -- Oodi was 936 oq (came right after Epoogyl)
