I am only 10k xp away from Counter Sniping II and look forward to getting my hands on the Disruptor rilfe. But where can I find one? Do Weaponsmiths make these also, and why are they so expensive?

If anyone can loan me one I'll be happy !! LOL

Thanks in advance

Yes weaponsmiths make them, they are expensive because you need a schematic from the caves. expensive also because the weaponsmiths charge alot for them and they get it. seen them any where between 1 and 5 million.

Er, on radiant, I bought mine for 300k, and have seen them for as low as 200k, and they are common now, at least here...

Zion is right. They are getting more common, so the prices are coming way down. I think I paid 600k (?)for my first one. I forget how much I paid for my second one, which was actually a better one, but it was significantly less. I have at least two schematics, which are realtively easy to come by. I would pay no where near that much for another.

Bring your own schematic and Geonosian Power Cubes and there's a good chance a smith will make it for low cost or free (keeping your remaining uses on the schematic as payment).

When I had mine made the smith recommended using green power cubes as the gun only comes with about 600 integrity normally (the green cubes give integrety). My guns now are about 1000 and 1100 each max condition. The damage cubes don't really give enough of a bump in my opinion.

If intending to use Krayt tissue in this - you really want the extra integrity.

the DXR6b disruptor is a handy weapon in certain situations. of late someone has been taking boba feet out of the hutt palace for test drives. bob is vulnerable to acid and highly resistant to everything else and has a ton of HAM. if he comes after you, your gonna need a decent one.

On Starsider, I usually sell them for between 150-200k, depending on ingredients used. With a stock and scope, it comes out to 367 max damage using green cubes (377 with yellows), 5.6 speed, and +118 accuracy at ideal range.

Find a good weaponsmith with 11 or 12 experimentation points so they can use a couple of those points for extra durability on the rifle. That way you can use yellow cubes and still get around 800+ condition for the rifle.

Its not the fastest or most devasting weapon out there. BUT, its acid based and even those made with gimpy materials have a HIGH accuracy at ideal (54m). I bought one with a +90 for 50k but I'm saving up to get one with a +115 for 300k. Even when I'm burst running as long as I stay within 50-64m the modifier stays in the pluses instead of -50. Works great when you're unbuffed and a rebel npc is charging and you want to lay a dizzy/posture down on it. Downside is that is a bit high on the HAM cost to use. If going against a stun layer helmet wearer in PvP its a good substitue for the T21 although its only AP2 instead of AP3 like the t21.

You'll have to decide if hitting more often vs. hitting for more is best for you.

1-5 million is way overpriced. Go shopping elsewhere for weapons. If you bring the cubes and schematic I'm sure most weaponsmiths will make you a rifle for free or really cheap (providing they get to keep the schematic). Try getting green cubes though so the rifle lasts longer.

But don't rip on the weaponsmiths, seeing what some people charge them for schematics and the cubes is ridiculous.
