I can't make them yet, but I have saved some resources since a long time (have some decent chromium and real good polysteel). But the question is, do they sell?

I am not a rfilmen, but I have always thought that the spraystick is a good backup weapon when mobs get close. But maybe they use a low-level pistol instead.

I only make them on special order. I am also a rifleman andI love my spraystick, Gives me rifle XP and works almost like a pistol. The only problemI have with mine is thatit degerades really fast due to a speed slice.

I made 20 and it took three weeks to sell them. I can usually sell 20 of anything else in 1-4 days.

Using these for warning shot isn't a very good idea with their poor accuracy and high HAM. D18 pistol, scout, even a CDEF would be better.

I used to periodically get requests for them, to which I had to say no. So one day, I just made the **edit** schematic and pumped 10 out. Sold maybe 2 in 3 weeks. Bleh. I think they'd be a lot more popular if the CDM and ACDM weren't completely broken.

Only if you want Pistol XP to go with your Rifle XP.

A lot of us Rifle types aren't interested in anything other than Rifle XP. So switching to a Spraystick, despite its numerous disadvantages in comparison with pistols, is the preferred alternative for many of us.

It is the fastest firing weapon available in the Rifle tree.
It has the lowest point-blank accuracy penalty of any weapon in the Rifle tree.

I have recently commissioned a Weaponsmith on my server (Hi Jei!) to make me a Spraystick with the lowest HAM costs he can possibly manage. I don't care about damage. Don't really care about speed. Just low HAM. So that when I whip it out and start hosing the place down with Warning Shot, it won't knock 30% off my Mind bar.

Warning shot does essentially no damage so you would not lose any significant amount of exp by using afaster, more accurate, lower HAM pistol to do your warning shot spam.

My spraysticks actualy sell out pretty quick, I usualy sell 5-10 per day. I don't really even think they are all that great since the chemical dispersion mechanisms are broken, and don't actualy do a type of chemical damage, but hey, they are making me money...
