Some got bored,

some got burned out,

some got removed from market by copetition from new MWS who try to undercut or by few established masters who sells cheap since their have tons of reources and even more cash,

some are waiting while new ones tol undectut themselfs and each other.

some stoped to make melee since about 8 of 10 ppl dont use it

some dont wear thier MWS tag because some ppl think that if you are master then you need to give them things for free.

Your best bet are to find one master WS in major town near starports and polite ask them if they could make you xxxxxx and how much it would cost..

Al my favoutrites for melee weapons seem to have shut up shop! Has something gone wrong with the profession?

I'm almost master... and if my harvester has picket up the last 14k of steel I need, then I can be master tomorrow )

There's a rotation.. some closes buiness, some new take over, and so on.

I haven't bought a weapon in some time now, so I have little idea if the biggest WS are still there. I know that I have trained several up-and-coming WSs the last weeks.. and I'm only 0304.

I am closing in on my Master WS (3434), and should reach it before the weekend.

My next problem is getting some good quality ressources. I have been focusing 100%on grinding ressources, to reach Master as quick as possible.

We are soon opening a Master Armorsmith/Master Weaponsmith shop near Bestine, Tatooine.

But since the market for ranged weapons are so much greater than for melee, I will start with ranged weapons until we have established a healthy business.

Turnover ... burnout ... wanting to make a quick buck ... weaponsmithing is not about crafting ... it's about resource management ... and most smiths doen't realize that ... or realize it to late. (I was a little late in figuring that out myself).

I have been around a while and plan on being around a while.

I just started doing melee weapons ... Power Hammer, Rykk and 2 Handed Curved on on the vendor now.

I got a batch of advanced vibro units coming out of the factory (my first batch) and I will round out the line with the popular vibro units. (Long Vibro Axe, and VK's are first up I think)

So ... come on by and check me out if your in the neighborhood ... location is in the sig ... just redid the PA in what is fairly standard "Mall" layout ... adding new vendors daily :-)

I'm still in business. Adding melee weapons daily. I have VK's, Stun Batons, Ryyk Blades, Power Hammers, and I think that's it. What else should I be stocking?

(oh I have every ranged weapon available too if those are what you want)
