I'm looking for the version of grenades that are for non Commandos. Can anybody help me out here?

C12s are the only grenades non-commandos are certified to use.

I made a crate of C12s and a buddy of mine was only hitting for about 15 damage when he used them. I hit for over 1k with them. I was a commando in the past so I didn't know if it was sort of strange certification bug. I'll have him try the C12s out again.

The reason your friend hit for low damage could have been a bug. I made a crate for a friend of mine, who had the same problem. I was using them fine, and she hit for little damage, and got little exp for doing so. Come to ask if she had the certification on her list, and she did not, which is a bug. All players are supposed to be certified. A CSR fixed her certification 2 days later and things were fine.

wookies have their certification spelt incorrectly, so not everyone can use them, everyone should be able to sue them tho! (they are great for the combat xp)!

C12s do rock for combat xp but wookies are not certed for them they did get my othe char the 40k combat for BH in under 3hrs though
