Alright I am fairly new to weaponsmithing, and I have a few questions on pricing.

1)Do you add some amount of credits for each level of armor piercing?

2) Do you add some amount of credits for radial damage?

3) Do you add some amount of credits for different types of damage?

4) How do you personally compute your pricing scheme?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Price at what the market has set by itself, a generic formula will not be generalizable across multiple servers and their vastly different economies, and I have yet to see a formula that incorporates rarity of resources being used.

Forget formulas, go look around at other weapon vendors on your server, see what they charge for what stats, and price yours accordingly.

Yes but by looking at other weaponsmith's prices this just creates a looping effect where everyone determines there prices because someone else prices it that way, like a keep up with the Jones' effect. I don't want to have to run around to see what other people's prices are I just was wondering if anyone charged extra for the above questions.

The first weaponsmiths on most servers were mostly beta veterans who set their prices according to the state of the economy at the end of beta. Some later weaponsmiths set the same prices as the old masters, others reduced their prices to get more business. It's anongoing process, and individual weaponsmiths raise and lower prices according to supply/demand and fixes/nerfs, but generally you can figure out what the average market rate is for a certain gun with certain stats by checking three or four vendors.

The key to sales is always customer service and a good product.

Give both and your prices are justified.

I always start with 10 creds per unit of resource used. If the weapons don't sell, I drop my prices a little and try again. If they sell too quick, I raise my prices a little the next time. Eventually you find equilibrium.

Dear Fellow Tailors,

I have made 10 shirts of +16 Resist Bleed and 10 Shirts of +12 Camo/Scent. I was mostly Combat before Commando/CH now that I have been going up the Tailor tree I am having fun. I make starter packs and clothes for our guild to store for cruits. They get me hides and our BE is making me tissues, hense the shirts. Now I have sold some Pack on the Bazzaar for below market value just to get my name out there Military Packs for 120 creds...they go fast. Point is I would like to know pricing and such just a general thumb sketch...I am on Wanderhome...Thx

Myself and my friend who is a master tailor use 30cpu which includes units of resources from components e.g include the 20 units used when making synthetic cloth, this has been fair pricing and has come out at roughly the same price every other tailor sells stuff for, as for BE clothes im not sure.

heh well i usually pay around 5k per bio-tissue so what i do then i charge 8k for an item with one tissue in it and increase from there... i'm very cheap and i make little profit but i figure with the decay issue makeing clothes cheap will make the buyer just view it as something that can be trashed when he/she needs room in the inventory and will come back to me again =]
