Thread: looking for specs on good VK's

Hello all
I was wondering what are the some of the best specs on Vibro knuckles that can be made now. I am on intrepid now so not sure if the resources on this server will come into play. If i could hook up with a weoponsmith that can make a set over 233 max damage will a low speed that would be great. If I can hook up with a smith that can do better great I can get loot drops if that would help out too. I am willing to get the materials if you dont have have them or it will drop the price. Looking for some good feedback from the community on this and if the 233 max is going to be as high as they can get. Currently I have a 191 max 2.2 sp sliced for dam.

Nyms motors usually give a +20 to the max damage of a VK or blade. this puts the damage at about 167. with a 30% slice that takes the damage to 217. If I were you I would take nyms missions and kill as many nyms as i could to get a stockpile of nyms VK's. Then get them made by a smith, (meklor, tca-warlord) and have me slice them...
Hopefully one will give you a decent damage. I have 2 one at 200 and the other at 217.

Thepre-JTL cap for non-enhanced VKs is (give or take a point or 2 by server) 147 max damage & 2.2 speed. Some servers with just the right spawn of JTL copper will be able to break that, but it hasn't happened on Naritus yet.
If you want more damage without relying too much on luck, go to Lok and make enemies with Nym. His minnions carry around High Power Vibro Motors the offer a minimum of +20 to damage. Those will allow you to get to around 225 with a perfect slice. Any NPC or Droidecka working for Nym has the chance to drop them.
If you don't mind taking the chance of comming back beaten, bruised & empty handed,try totake down Axva Min the Nightsister Queen. If your lucky, she might drop some of her special Vibro Blade Units... And then the sky is the limit.
If a smith happens (through pure chance) to get a game glitch during their assembly, they can get base VKs into the 160s IIRC. This is a one in a million chance though, and we've no idea how to reproduce it. When a smith does get an assembly like that and makes a schematic from it, he can produce up to 1000 of those little treats.

I looted a set of NYM motors with a +28 damage on them once. Only got 2 motors out of it though. Sold them VK's a long time ago.
