Thread: Question about Grenades for vet weaponsmiths

Ok I have until recently been making nothing but Imperial detonators. I have been having trouble Finding the steel I needed for thermals. but my question is, I keep an eye on the trade board and everyonce in a while I see someone selling thermals. I will go check them just to see and so far my imperials have been faster and done more damage over all the thermals I see for sale on my galaxy. is it just because I use good materials or do thermals not do more damage.

they also have a larger radius(7m) if that interests you. and i found them cheaper to produce (if you have thoranium steel) then imperial dentonators.

Different nadesdo different damage types - I have different players request specific grenades depending on what they are grinding on - many hunt and collect meat, hide, etc. to pay for the grenade grind. Some creatures have higher resists to the damage type of Imps than they do glops, etc.. Those that actually pay attention to resists may find that using different ypes of grenades really pays off as far as dishing out the damage - I even get requests for glops and cryobans for that very reason. Between Imps and Therms - the radius, wound chance and different AP make the differenc.
