Sorry about the double post..
I am a new weaponsmith. I know to go to swgcraft to find the resources I need, but What i really need to know is the stats for the ore I get. What is really important.. OQ is but what esle should 2 stats add to something and give me an overall what to look for. I have tried some really good ore with 980 OQ but have found on some items I craft its crap,. and some of my not so great ore seems to do better... so any help is good.. just some sort of idea as to what to look for specifically... the different stats are a mystery to me and maybe i am overlooking something.. i will check the craft site again.. ok thanks.

Erm it depends upon what you are making. If you know enough to get to swgcraft then take a little longer and get the weaponsmith branch on screen. Click on the item you are thinking of making and it will tell you which stats are important and which resources you will need. OQ is not the be-all and end all for instance, melee weapons rely on SR and/or UT and Oq is often irrelevant.

Its also important to know what the caps are for each stat of every resource you need. It is really a pain to wait for aneeded resourcethat is capped at say 400 on ut and 399 spawns and you dont get a bunch because you think its crap. There are several posts scattered throught these forums that list the caps and also one over at swgcraft.

The stats that are important really depends on what item you are crafting - in the crafting process, there is a sidebar of information that tells you what stats are specifically important for the item you are crafting.
