Thread: Red Cubes and weapons.. whats the relationship?

Are the red cubes for weapons.. they have stats that seem to reduce both encumbrence and special cost. Perhaps these are universally used for armor and weapons. Was just wondering because i wanted to use them to make a lower-ham scythe.. but im not sure if they can be used for that =).

dont know forsure abut the red cubes havent seen them yet BUT if it is a lowered ham sure it will reduce the hamon the scythe i fyou on bloodfin and have 5 or more send a mail to monohk ill get you the scythe you want

DONT use them in a scythe, b/c they are not directly used in the scythe it does not recieve the upgrade, they are only useful in a weapon that direclty uses it in there main requirements. Not sure if its a bug but with red and yellow cubes being rare anyhow i dont suggest using any in melee weapons etc.

Wrong
It will lower the ham costs of the crafted sword cores used in the scythe thus reducing the ham of the scythe

i looted 3 red cubes today, they lower ham costs and encumb mainly

The base stats on red cubes are only -4 HAM; the yellow cubes are +10 min/max damage which is a lot more useful.
Some cubes have armorsmith stats because of the loot schematics for bone and RIS parts which use power cubes. Too bad no one's ever going to use them because bone armor sucks and RIS is bugged to hell.

i used six red cubes in crafting two scythes today. The cubes were good... -9 to all special cost... made the ham cost on the scythe look much nicer... then i got a 34% damage slice on both.. no joke. Ill post the stats here later when i have them available.
