Thread: Know nothing about blast damage, please inform me.

Weapons are becoming blast, we know that.
However, I heard different responces about the amount of damage they do some say 1 some say more then their kinitic or energy weapons. (Want to know if this has acualyy been tested, post 21)
What exactly is blast damage?
Sounds to me like something used for ships (not sure though)to effect droids and machinery, if so would one shot destroy a PSG?
Just trying to figure out if maybe this blast damage can have a usefulness.

There were different damage types before the Combat Upgrade. Blast damage (launcher pistols and power hammers) and stun damage were unique damage types that were removed from the game.
