I ask because I have a fw fwg-5 with 2 acc mods:

Pistol Ac. +15

Acc. bonus +17

Now here is the thing I put that pistol in hand and look at my character sheet and my accuracy goes up +15 for my character, (even with no tapes).

Acc. bonus is directly under damage on the pistol. This combined with the fact that this Accuracy Bonus is not showing up on my character sheet leads me to wonder if it is a Bonus to damage IF your accuracy is higher then defenders defense.

This also seems to make sense because... when I attack my friend who has better defense then my(non pistol modified)accuracyby20 I donot do full damage (if accuracy bounus was a bonus to accuracy ,I would be +15 pis +17 Acc bonus for + 32 in accuracy thus over his defense)

Also I noticed that when I attackfriends with a lower defenseI am going a little bit over my max damage and shot modifer. Thistoo made me wonder if Accuracy bonus is a bonus to damage if accuracy is higer.

I have no idea if this is because accuracy bonus does not boost your accuracy but gives you a dmg bonus when you have higer accuracy or just some other factor I did not think of?

Does any one know for sure, or can give me the post that stats how these things actually work from a dev.
