Sry, I asked this on the trade board and not much answer. Is a +14 Grenade Experimentation CA worth anything? I am on Bloodfin.

I've been wondering about that as well.
I've seen a few grenade/demolitionist belts... Thought of picking it up (thought it was cheap).
Does it do anything for me, being a MWS or no? (or was this like a skill only for commandoes or BH? We can make grenades... *shrugs*)

Ahh... Grenade Experimentation. Here's the deal. Grenade Assembly, Experimentation and the Beam Rifle are all, sadly, utterly useless right now. GA/E are left over from beta when Commandos could craft their own explosives. ...and the Beam Rifle.. well... they just never gave anything the certification.
So... it's a nice SA... but sadly.. you won't get much for it..

Even though it's useless right now, I'd still hang onto it. The Demolitionist's Belt that was added to the gamea while ago has grenademaking bonuses. So, it may be that the Devs plan to add the skill back into the game eventually. Stick it in the bank, and maybe it will be worth a bit in the future.
(although the pessimist in me says that the Demolitionist's Belt was just a programmer mistake.
)

Well, not really a great thing. Would only help when making a few commando toys, but adding abother 50 or so HP to something whacking 3,000 <shrug>. Worth hanging onto tho, never know with this galaxy.
Tosser Grenades can be helped better if Master Artisian as well as Weapon Smith. Just use whatever is laying about for the grenades and add Grenade Power Ups (for about 100 more credits worth of effort when sold individually) and gain 30% plus on whatever was made using the junk laying around. Some can be Speed, some Damage, you get the idea. If you are a True Spirit For The Cause - well, go get it Slicedbefore the PuP is installed<grin>. 30% plus 30% = wOw
This is the ONLY place I will sell weapons with a PuP installed. Nobody thinks to buy Grenade PuPs, so I tend topre-install. What is a real hoot is the PuP still has 100 uses, on a 5 use grenade, heh heh.

Sorry if this is a terribly noobish inquiry... I'm an SWG veteran (Stag), but I'm very new at Weaponsmithing.
Anyway, do grenades use another form of experimentation besides just Weapon Experimentation? Does this question even make sense? I'm perusing the trade forums looking for decent Weapon Exp. tapes and I keep coming across the whole grenade thing. Any help?

Nope, the Grenade Experimentation tapes are totally useless.

Thanks a ton, Ec. I feel sorry for the poor bastards paying miliions for these things... probably the same people buying up all the Battle Fatigue Healing tapes. lol.
