Thread: Non-Serial Stabilizators need to be Re-Serialized. Who is the Correspondent here ?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr fix.
Hi
Are they going to put serials ontheBerserker Stabilizator Barrel soon ?
We can not make any Berserker Rifles because all the Berserker Stabilizator Barrels ( a component for the rifle)did not received their hot fix Serial number few weeks ago.
Allthe Non-serial Berserker Stabilizator Barrels are sleeping in our inventory waiting. They are extremely rare and expensive peice to find so they need a hot fix to gettheir serial asap.
We are not seeking for new Barels to get serial, we want the ones we already looted to get their serial numbers through a Hot fix.

If you looked about half-way down the front page on the forums, you'd notice that there is already a discussion on the Beserker Rifle Barrel issue. Logix has already passed the issue on to the development team, and several people have discussed the issue with CSRs. What more do you want?
It's not like Logix can wave a magic wand and make the issue go away. It's been passed on, the team knows about it, and it's likely been tossed in with a thousand other mid- to low-priority issues. Everything takes time, and unless it's going to make the whole server crash, or stop all spawning everywhere, the best we can reasonably expect is that it gets shuffled in with one of the publishes.
I seriously wish people would stop calling out our correspondent, especially on issues that have already been discussed. This isn't the OK-Corral, it's a discussion forum.

There's no need to throw you on ignore simply because we don't agree.
But seriously...how do you feel your new thread is going to help the issue? From the other thread, plenty of people said that all barrels are dropping unserialized and as such, they're unusable. Logix said that the issue was passed on to the team. The issue clearly hasn't been forgotten about, since it's on the front page, so i have to wonder what need there was for another thread, as opposed to simply adding your dissent to the other thread.
But that's not what I take issue with. What I take issue with ispeople (and it's not just you, this seems to be FOTM around here) implying that our correspondent is somehow absentee and negligent simply because something doesn't get fixed immediately. Logix is doing everything possible to push this and other issues. The fact that results aren't immediate has nothing to do with correspondent effort, and has everything to do with the fact that the devs are too busy with Jedi / BH stuff, planning smuggler, and readying for JTL to deal with our issues. Take it up with them.

Well, You catch me in a very bad mood due to a bug but let me tell you few things sab.
There is many things you need to know about SOE.
The JTL team(s) plurial have nothing to do with the serial issueor any bug fixes.
There are several teams in-house and outsources working ondistinct modules. JTL will be released as plan before the hollydays unless they change plan.
Fixing the serial will notdelaythe JTL not even 1 day because it is a complete different team.
There are lots of people (like myself) who just glance at topics without clicking in. Not everyone have the time to read every posts. Especially when 98% of the posts are serious boredom.
Anyway, some posts may die, other posts my keep bumping up. This is when theadvancedsearch comes to play. It allowsto use keywordsto make the search.
After using the search for nearly 30 minutes myselfthe only posts that were coming out werethe:"WTB Berserker, Auction Berserker" which started to irritate me.
My topicincludes morewords likeStabilizator which may help other users to findrelated thread easierin 6 months from now. If they can not find the serial-issues one they may find other threads. It's better for them to find more results from their search than just one post.
I understand you are a fanboy but fanboy does not imply that you must act like a defender of the whatever. In other words (don't do the police).
Lastly, you may interpret opening threadinappropriate but criticizing a stranger (me or anyone)is as much inappropriate andvery typical to forum typeof people. Next time, if you want to be polite and professional, try to introduce your self first or use a private message if it is addressed to 1 person.
And by the way, you may have not seen it butmy initial postwasa touch of sarcasm toward the correspondent. A joke if you like.
Some of you are so....too serious.
