And here's a little added bonus. If you experiment in durability on a power handler or a feed mech (for example) and get a moderate or fail, it can actually lower the damage/speed again! /cheer Programming at its finest.
Oh, and those heavy duty motors and handlers that seem to be dropping all over...worthless since the components don't do anything for condition. I hadn't seen any for a while, so I'm guessing they fixed the drop for them. Yes, fixed the drop for enhancements that do nothing while the gorax drop is still broken. It all makes sense if you look at it from a SOE point of view.
(Don't get me wrong...I like the new stuff, but I want fixes for the old stuff more than new stuff)

Hey all,
Just wondering if I should expend points in the durability row on sub-components such as cores, barrels, motors etc. The part shows no category for this, only the final weapon. Does it actually improve the condition of the weapon or is it just a waste of points?
Thanks much.

It's a big whopping waste of points. The working item you can use to increase durability is the geonocian green cubes, and that's only in DXR-6bs and Geo Pistols. You can essentially blow up any enhancements you find for them too. Your best bet is to go for range, seeing as to how hitting is well... important

If only... they're still dropping, but they're showing up in weird places (desert demons, tuskens, etc). The BPH and the VM models too :/
