Hey everybody I am about to have one of my alts use there vet reward for some of the crystalline "rainbow" gemstones used in the T-21 but am not sure on the best spawn to get. If anybody knows the name of the best ones to spawn so far on lowca plz reply. Also curious about the Altrium carbonate ore for the same reson plz.

Okay.. I'm not sure if you know about the ratios of weaponsmithing, but if you have ANY of Gallinorian Rainbow at your disposal, use that. If you want the best damaging T-21, your best bet is to invest in some good resources that are abundant within the given schematic. I'll throw out some numbers for you..

Total resources used in creation of a T-21: 639

Total Gallinorian Rainbow gems used: 15

Total % of ratio: 2%

This means that if you used gems with 0 OQ, or 1000 OQ (since gems dont have conductivity, so only 1 stat counts), the total damage would only differ by 2%, or maybe10 damage. Not a big deal. However, Ditanium Steel is 150, meaning it accounts for 23%. You'd be much better off getting your hands on some Carbafavoris (Ditanium Steel) with 383 Condition and 817 OQ (Best ever to spawn on Lowca), this has the potential to alter your total damage 100 damage, which is much more practical.

Although, since this Ditanium isn't actually that good, you might be better off to pick yourself up some Ahoworis Planite Copper, which can be used in the "generic metal" component, which makes up 127 units of the total production, or roughly 20% of the total value. Ahoworis has 899 Conductivity and 859 OQ, which would appear to be the best generic metal ever to spawn on Lowca, and using this would give you a higher damage output than using Ditanium Steel or Gallinorian Rainbow gems.

In short, get Ahoworis Planite steel, and buy a small stack of cheap gems (and Altrium ore) off of another Weaponsmith, because in the long run, you'll never use 30k of either resource and it's a waste of your veteran reward. Good luck, hopefully someone else can back me up on my numbers.
