Somebody was asking about Neutronium steel and that got me thinking of Geno sword cores. Some pretty nice Neutronium spawned on Bria (UT 711) so I tried out making a plain-jane white-cube core. 34/34 -0.4 and change.

So, what's your best sword core with or without yellow cubes and/or toothpaste?

mine are coming out to 40/40

You said "with or without yellow cubes" which would account for 10/10 damage. You should have specified without to get base stats, and can then determine maxes based on pastes and cubes. Since those seem to go as high as 20 each, you could add around 40/40 on top of the base to determine what's possible.

With +16 cubes and +13 toothpaste, I get 62/65 cores

My current best was46-74 -0.47 3/3/3 ham. Used 12/21 cubes and +19 agents. Blade came out pretty nice, 196-353 2.6.

Best one from looted cores is 192-320 2.0.

Just made a nice scythe today, used yellows cubes with 12/13, the cores came out with max damage of 63 though, final piece had a max damage of 340 2.6

Eclipse - Woodis of Millenium

I was just about to post a topic called "Better than Ackley".

I am often left with odd pastes/cubes from builds. So I put some together yesterday and made cores.

I used a 24 cube with a 15 paste and gor a 63/75 core (I have excellent steel...at work now so I cant get its stats).

I had an order for a Gad. Baton of over 300. So I made one, had it sliced (got 31% damage) and produced a 339 3.5 Gad. Bat. and a very happy customer (all be it a little lighter in the pocket :smileywink

So I would say to my fellow WS....go to your backpacks and take out all those lonely cubes and toothpastes and make cores......
